Tupperware Party

Yesterday I hosted a Tupperware Party. We had so much fun, Martha Spink did an awesome job! She had everyone laughing the whole time, who knew tupperware could be so much fun. Being a hostess you can get lots of cool free stuff. Even though I had to provide food, its so worth hosting a party! Check out what I am getting for free!




This is the Quick Chef. It is amazing, it beats the food processor. We made salsa in it. You can put the whole onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and jalepeno pepper in it all together then spin a few times and its DONE! Then you can just put it in the dishwasher! How awesome is that! I think almost everybody at the party got one!

I am so excited about this picnic set! It comes with so many different items! Can't wait to get it :)

Well I haven't been too good about posting, but here I am. Nick and I have been so busy lately! We have had something to do every weekend! Its been nice to be busy, but I am ready to spend time at our house!

Lets see it started in April with a couple showers/birthday parties for Nick's family. Nick's cousin Heather got married May 8th. So we had lots of wedding festivities that we were able to be involved in. Her shower was so much fun! She got lots of awesome gifts! I sure do miss opening so many gifts! Her wedding was at the beach! It was so beautiful! What a great couple :) We have enjoyed sharing in their happiness and spending so much time with family!

Also the same weekend Heather and Travis got married, Brittany's(Nick's sister) husband Chris graduated from Med School, so he is officially Dr. Robert Christopher Brock. We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished! Pluse we have a Dr. in the family to go to now! :) So Congrats Chris! We are so proud of you and we love you!

Now the next weekend is when Lindsey graduated and my cousin Erin that lives in GA got married. It was a tough decision, but Nick and I attended the wedding in GA to represent our family and share in the marriage of Erin and Chris Ward. (so many chris's) haha The wedding was so wonderful and it was nice to catch up with family that I haven't seen in a while. It was a short weekend, but we had a great time. The rest of the family went to Texas to see Lindsey graduate! We are so proud of her as well. I know she is going to be the best social worker ever and touch so many lives! Congrats and we love you!

Last weekend Heather and Travis had a reception/pig picking in Roxboro. The Sherrod crew drove up to Roxoboro and ate some good food and played puck in the hole. Everything was so wonderful and pretty. The party was interupted by a bad storm. When the rained lightened we ended up heading back to Greenville. But from picturs I saw on Facebook it looks like we left too early, because it looked like the weather cleared up and lots of dancing went on. I am upset though because she had koozies as wedding favors and i forgot to get one. I hope she may have some left over and she still give me one! i love koozies :) haha

So here we are at the end of May. Its Memorial Weekend!!! I can't believe its about to be June. Time sure does fly by when you are having fun! Everybody is talking about heading to the beach, but not us! We are staying home :) We are having a guy come finish painting the house and then it will ALL be FINISHED!!! I'm so excited! Then i can hang pictures on the wall and finish decorating the house! But we are also going to RELAX and enjoy each other's company! So YEAH for a 3 day weekend! I'm not sure what all i am going to do with myself. I really want to work outside so i can get some sun, but the weather doesn't look too promising!

We are trying to get everything finished on the house before June 12. I am hosting a Tupperware Party at our new house! I am so excited its kinda a house warming party/tupperware party! So I told Nick we had to have everything finished by then! So then I will finally take some pictures of the house so you can see what it looks like! Which leads me to talk about pictures. I have been so bad about not taking pictures. So my goal is to start taking more pictures. Life is flying by and i need a way to help me remember everything! So hopefully I will post lots of pictures soon! haha

The Weekend is ALMOST here!

For some reason this week has been SOO long! I have been so tired and i'm not really sure why. I'll blame it on the pollen! Can't wait for it to rain to wash it all away!! I really want to get my car clean!

Nick and I have been busy fixing up the house just like we want it! We have painted...well we paid somebody to...got a new chandlier, put chair rail molding up in the dining room, took down trees, still in the process of taking down wallpaper (I HATE WALLPAPER), put a new storm door on the front so the doggies could look outside and a few other things! It is starting to come together, but i sure have learned to be PATIENT!! I want everything to be done now, but it has taken several weekends and there will always be something we need to do on the house!

We just got new furniture for the den!! it looks SOO good! I will have to try and post pictures (don't know how to do that yet, but hopefully i will figure it out)! Nick also got new surround sound speakers so we have the whole set up for the den! I'm flirting with Nick extra hard working on getting a new kitchen table! haha

Work is going good! Staying pretty busy! i am really enjoying it, but sometimes i have to deal with a few customers that aren't so happy and sometimes they are so mean...they try and make me cry!! I don't like being fussed it!! but none of it is my fault they just don't like their new health insurance plan!! Change is hard sometimes!

Even though i am enjoying my job, i am trying to go back to school to get my master's in nursing! I am working on all the applications and getting my prereq. completed before i can actually apply to the masters program. So i will keep you updated on the school status....but the main reason i want to go back is so i can have spring break! the working world is so hard! haha :)

Anyways...thats us for now!!

Well I thought it was time to start a blog! I have really enjoyed reading Bryan and Lindsey's Blog so I thought I would start one as well. I am tring to set up the page and learn how to do everything! How do you get the pretty pages for the background? All the templates I saw were boring!! Well I'm going to try and figure all this out and I will post more later! YEAH for starting a new blog!
